Watsonairs 70th Countdown : First Music Retreat!

The Watsonairs had an absolutely wonderful experience at their inaugural music retreat last weekend!
The theme of the day was "Where music lifts the spirit and harmony brings joy," and it truly resonated throughout the event. The day was divided into three exciting blocks, each designed to capture the essence of the theme and culminating in a moment of reflection and community close.
The first block, "Welcome and Energy Builder," set the tone with a vibrant focus on unifying sound and building momentum. Next up was the "Deep Dive Technique" block, where participants centered their attention on technical skills in order to apply these to the the entire Watsonairs repertoire, setting the stage for the next segment. The morning concluded with a delightful lunch break that began with a harmonious singing of grace.
In the third block, participants applied their newly honed technical skills to the Spring concert repertoire, transforming notes into pure artistry. The day wrapped up beautifully with moments dedicated to reflection and a heartfelt community close. What an extraordinary day it was!
