Community Involvement

Proceeds raised by Watsonairs concerts go to local community initiatives.  Donations have gone to a variety of these initiatives over the years.  These have included over the last 69 years the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer Fund, Girl Guides, the Arts Centre, the YWCA, the Victoria Hospital, group homes, the purchase of musical instruments at Pine Grove, The Heritage Centre, Herb Basset Home, Pineview Terrace, Sherman Towers, St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church and the EA Rawlinson Centre. The Watsonairs also provide an annual scholarship awarded at the Prince Albert Music Festival.

Funds raised at the Spring Concert over the past two years have been given to new Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) facility being built in Prince Albert.
